Slide fix for Jahia 4.1.1 (will be corrected in the upcoming Jahia 4.2 release)

An issue has been identified when uploading documents in the public or private directory of a user, preventing access to both directories for any users once Jahia is restarted. If you have not encountered the problem, we recommend you to update the jahia.jar (see below) to prevent the problem from occuring later on. If the problem is occuring on your Jahia installation, please proceed to the following :

  • Download this file containing jahia4.1.2.jar and userfolder_fix.jsp and extract it in a temporary directory on your system : jahia4_1_1_slidefix.zip
  • Shutdown your Jahia, remove the file jahia4.1.1_01.jar located in tomcat/webapps/jahia/WEB-INF/lib/ and replace it with the jahia4.1.2.jar.
  • Copy the userfolder_fix.jsp file to tomcat/webapps/jahia/jsp/jahia/engines/filemanager directory.
  • Restart Jahia and access the following URL : http://server_address:server_port/jahia/jsp/jahia/engines/filemanager/userfolder_fix.jsp. if the problem is identified in your database, it will fix the corresponding slide entries. Once this is done, you will need to restart Jahia for the changes to be taken into account.
